What is The Chorus Girl Project?

The Chorus Girl Project is a dance class created for vintage lovin', hip-shakin', leg kickin', New Orleans women!

OUR GOAL
Our goal for The Chorus Girl Project is to bring together New Orleans ladies interested in; traditional jazz & blues music, jazz culture, vintage fashion, and those that are inspired by the spirit and aesthetics of the early 20th century chorus lines from both stage & screen. Most importantly, we want to bring together ladies that LOVE to DANCE.

WHO CAN JOIN?
This project is created for women of ALL skill levels.  We've had every type of woman join our chorus line - college students, moms, artists, lawyers, Irish dancers, bounce dancers, massage therapists, teachers, ex-cheerleaders, service industry gals, experienced stage performers, and even newbie dancers.

OPTIONAL PERFORMANCES
At the end of every session we set up 1-2 public performances at local jazz clubs or various community functions (our last session performed during French Quarter Fest at the Traditional Jazz Stage in the French Market and our current session is performing at Satchmo Fest). Performances are completely optional and they are NOT a requirement to participate in the session.
